After a 9-year campaign by Buranda parent Laura Klein for improved safety for children going to Buranda State School, a bike and pedestrian path has now opened under Logan Road at Stones Corner linking the school with Hanlon Park.

The P&C Association congratulates and thanks Laura for her courage and tenacity in spear-heading the campaign.

The P&C Associations thanks Brisbane City Council for building this path.

Generations of Buranda State School kids and many others will benefit from vastly improved safety that the underpass now gives for crossing Logan Road to or from Hanlon Park.
